Kit Donations Reach Their Destination
The children of Zaranyika Primary School, Murewa, Zimbabwe, have sent a big thank you to the members of Cramlington Juniors FC for their kind donation of football strips, boots and trainers, along with the Cramlington Juniors playing kits donated by the club itself.
There has been a collection box in our Ann Welfare clubhouse for the past few years where our club members have been encouraged to deposit and unwanted football kits and foot wear. At the end of each season all of the donations are collated and are taken across to the children of all ages in Zimbabwe villages so they can, just like our players, enjoy participating in their favourite sport.
Adrian Farrar our Vice Chair and U16 Coach has been instrumental in organising the collection together with Jalibani Ndebele, whose family are originally from the the Mashonaland East Province in Zimbabwe where the school is located.
Speaking after the latest delivery to the school, Jalibani thanked Cramlington Juniors and asked our members to “please continue the collection as it means a lot to these kids”
Please keep an eye out for the box in the clubhouse as we will be continuing with the collections!.
