Cramlington Juniors FC are delighted to announce that three of our U8s players and one of our U9 players have been offered and accepted a places at professional club academies for next season.

Adam Doyle


Adam joined the aged 5 and progressed through our very successful Development Centre for young players under the age of 6, to play in U7 Bayern last season before competing this season for U8 Corinthians.He will be joining Newcastle United FC as a memberof their 2016/17 U9 Squad.

Louis Scott 


Louis joined Cramlington Juniors from Longhoughton Rangers in June 2015 he has had a great season as an integral part of the U8 Corinthians team . He will be joining Sunderland FC as a member of their 2016/17 U9 Squad.

Finn Tilmouth


Finn joined Cramlington Juniors from Bedlington Town in June 2014. He has enjoyed two great seasons, firstly in our U7 Ajax team and  then this season in our U8 Corinthians team. He will be joining Newcastle United FC as a member of their 2016/17 U9 Squad.

Jack Daley


Jack joined Cramlington Juniors from Ashington CFC in June 2015 and has enjoyed a great season as part of the very successful U9 Flamengo team. He will be joining Sunderland FC as a member of their 2016/17 U10 Squad.


Cramlington Juniors Chairman, Michael Cairns, was delighted for all the boys. ” Our dedicated team of coaches spend many hours developing the boys at the club so its always a very satisfying feeling when we see our young players being given the opportunity to take their firsts tentative steps in to the world of professional football. The boys work very hard at trying to improve so its fantastic to see them achieving this recognition. Its also a great testament to the clubs philosophy and beliefs that puts overall player development above everything else”

The U8 trio take the number of players to have signed for professional club academies to 19 of the last 36 players to be part of the U8 Corinthians squads in the last 5 seasons.
