U15 Whites Wild Day Out
For the past couple of seasons the parents of the u15 Whites have decided they would coordinate fundraising activities with a view to paying for the players to do an end of season activity which was something different to football. In previous seasons they have been ten pin bowling and quad biking. This season the fundraisers decided to book Ghyll scrambling with www.hightideadventure.co.uk
This took place last Saturday 13th June at Nenthead mines near Alston in Cumbria. Instead of the coaches joining in with the players it was thought more appropriate that the two main fundraisers, Sarah Hyde and Nicola Ryder took part instead and enjoy the “fun”. Both ladies completed all the challenges that were thrown at them along with the lads. Everyone had a great time and the lads thought it was “mint”.
Thank you to everyone who has taken part and supported the fundraising events from sponsored walks, football match and bag packs.
